Epperson Waste Disposal owns and operates Grant County's only fully contained solid waste landfill. The landfill is located just south of the City of Williamstown [directions] and has operated at that location since 1968.

The Epperson Landfill is one of only 25 contained landfills located in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. It accepts only non-hazardous solid waste. Epperson is owned by Republic Services, Inc., the nation's third largest solid waste management company.
